Ingredients
15 oz can kidney beans
2 tablespoons sugar free ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/3 cup quick oats
Recipe Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F, spray baking sheet with cooking spray or line with parchment paper, and set aside.
Mash beans in mixing bowl until there are no whole beans left.
Add in the rest of the ingredients and stir until well-combined.
Form burgers using a 1/2 cup measure.
Place on prepared baking sheet, and flatten with the palm of your hand.
Bake for 10 minutes, flip (carefully!), and bake for another 10 minutes on the other side. Alt: pan sear or grill.
Plating this recipe: pair with homemade french fries (250 grams of white potato or 200 grams of sweet potato per serving) and 1/2 lb of non-starchy vegetables.
How to make homemade french fries? Cut potato into desired shape, lightly spray with oil (optional) and place in the air fryer on 400F for 15-20 minutes.
