Here at Lifestyle Medicine Maine, we learn about principals that we can leverage to optimize our weight loss and we personalize them for where we are at in our journey.

Lead by Lifestyle Medicine Professional, and Medical clinician, Jessica Krol, FNP, DipACLM, our 12 week Weight Loss and Wellness Program is forever evolving to meet the needs of our clients. We are so excited to announce that the Lifestyle Medicine Maine App will be released in the early weeks of session 02! More about this soon! Session 02 will be packed with more real food demonstrations to help us make sense of how we can put the principals that we are learning about into action. We'll kick off our first Sunday meeting by getting to know one another and then we'll enjoy an interactive demonstration on how to leverage calorie density by exploring a full day of eating!

Here at Lifestyle Medicine Maine, we follow the science and the science on behavior change is clear, we need social support (1). Social support is crucial in nudging behavior change and it makes the process so much more fun and engaging. In a 2001 study, researchers found that regardless of preference, people engaging in group programs get better results than going it alone (1). That's why we offer the Weight Loss and Wellness group Program, beginning every 3 months!


What are we excited for in session 02? With spring temperatures in the air, we're excited about fresh produce from the local farmers markets and beach weather. Session 02 begins Sunday April 7th for 12 weeks, concluding the last week of June, making this a fantastic time to get started! If you missed out on Session 01, then it's time to sign up and start shedding the winter holiday weight! Let's stop yo-yo dieting, and instead make sustainable changes that will last a lifetime. Participations from session 01 tell me that once they learn these principals, they can't "unsee" them. Gain the knowledge that you need to make informed health and wellness changes and the peer support to actually make them! Let's dream together and make this a reality.

Sign up for session 02 today and take charge of your health and wellness.

  • Who can register? Registration for session 02 is now available nationwide to participants age 18+ who are not pregnant.

  • When? Beginning Sunday, April 7th from 10-11am EST (1 hour) for 12 weeks

  • Where? Group meetings are via video chat (zoom) with the additional support of weekly weigh-in's at the clinic and unlimited ability to schedule tele-health video visits to help us define success and get real results.

  • How? Sign up online here or schedule a free consultation to ask questions and learn more about the program here.

  • What? Engage in the group program aimed to optimize our health and wellness. Choose whether you want to monitor biomarkers along the way. All participants will have the option to monitor their biomarkers through a series of lab testing (the ability to order your own lab work is coming soon for out-of-state residents!). Disease specific testing and monitoring is available separately for Maine State Residents looking to added medical support (learn more).
